Really would like to see pictures of this one. Has the makings of a beauty to me if it''s eye clean. Just out of curiousity what are they asking for it if you don''t mind sharing? Thanks.

mid 20''s. pls share your thoughts.

Hey, I was right, it IS colorless!

It definitely has potential. Is this an online stone? Any chance of getting an Idealscope picture?

I dont know if I can get the idealscope. I can request it!
Compared to the other stones that we looked at, this one really stood out as a winner. I was wondering if I am missing something.

D colour.. wow, lovely! :)

The stone scores really well on the Holloway Cut Advisor (0.8 Ex/Ex/Ex/Vg) and has a lovely small table too.

My main concern would be, if you haven''t seen the stone in real life, to make sure that it is eyeclean enough for you.. and to your own specifications. If you can''t view it in person, ask the vendor to check it for you. Do you want the stone to appear clean from the sides as well as face up? You''ll need to tell them this if so. What sort of distance do you want it to appear clean from? Tell them that too.

Other than that it seems like an awesome stone and a really good price. I was just looking at some 2ct stones for similar money... so this could be a winner!

I would advise that you consider getting it independently appraised before it is set if you do go for this diamond, just to be sure that you are getting exactly what you pay for, and that it matches up with the certificate, just for your own peace of mind.

Most vendors will allow you to return a diamond within a set period of time, which will allow you to get it appraised and return it if necessary.

That's what I was going to suggest, if you can't get an IS pic (but really, even if you can it would not be a bad idea). I think it's worth bringing home to have someone take a look at it! Provided there is an ample return period, for FULL REFUND, not store credit. And also if you like what you hear as far as eyecleanliness.

I have seen it in person. It is completely eye clean. Under the loop, you can see a small cloud on the top of the diamond.

In our price range, we were being shown F-G''s, VS1-SI1 at 2.2 carats.

When a differnt store showed us this D-SI1 at 2.41 carats, I was interested. Later in my search, I learned about the importance of EX-EX-EX. I went back to the home of the D stone, curious to see what the cut, polish and symmetry were listed as. I figured they would be good to very good, considering the price of the stone. I almost fell over when I realized this WAS a triple EX!

Well, if you''ve seen it (I take it it''s local?), have an IA take a look, as I suggested before, along with the other conditions!

Ditto, by the looks of it, this could be a gorgeous diamond.
