It looks promising by the numbers, any chance of an ASET or Idealscope image?

Sorry this is the only information I have :(
I am told that the stone is completely eye clean for blemishes.

On the comments section of the report it says "Addtional clouds are not shown". Should I be worried about this?

No worries, where it says anything " not shown" in the comments section of a grading report them you can assume it is a non issue. Clouds are only a problem rarely in SI2 clarity grades if they are the grade setter and marked on the plotting diagram of the diamond.

hi

The vendor has sent me pictures of the diamond. He did not manage to send a full Idealscope but instead took a photograph of the diamond with a 9 megapixel camera and also put the camera lens through teh Idealscope tube for a picture.

He says that the hearts are somewhat distorted as the diamond would not sit completely straight or flat on the plate.

What do you think?

thanks for your help

It looks like a nice diamond, not cut to h&a precision but a well cut diamond nevertheless. If you consider buying it, with a purchase of this magnitude make the sale final on it checking out to your satisfaction in all aspects with an independant appraiser.

Here is a tool you can use to find an appraiser in your area.

Well.....I decided to go ahead and buy the stone.

Paid USD35k.

Any thoughts on whether I got a good deal on this stone.

Congrats Luia, I think it is a beautiful diamond and you will love it! Price looks fine, you bought it from a jewellery store?
