My ear holes are closing. I tried vermeil earrings with nickel free silver. I tried using my 18kt earrings. And then my platinum ones. I can't wear any of them 24/7 for more than 48 hours.

So I picked up some titanium studs. They seem to be okay.

But I want lab diamond studs in yellow gold bezels. Do any vendors do real diamond studs but with titanium posts and backings and also the back of the stud where it touches my skin?

Alternately, maybe there is a way to modify my current 18kt earrings with titanium posts and backings?

My 2nd piercings are always irritated and trying to close, sometimes bloody after a couple days. Remove and clean, try another pair. Gold is better than silver. I don't have a cure.

316L surgical/marine stainless steel might be something to look into.
There has to be at least one custom jeweler out there that can and will do it, I'd presume.

I'll ask David Klass if they can do it. Excellent suggestion. So for the titanium is doing well. I will try surgical steel and see what happens!

You could also go to a piercing shop. They often do orders for custom jewelry and are familiar with titanium. And they might give you advice on how to heal your piercing so you can wear what you want.
