NO-ONE can help me with this? I really need to make a decision yes or no on this diamond.

Thanks!!!

All I can do is give you a comparable stone, same size face up, AGS0 Ideal, but H instead of G for $1000 less:

I'd take this one and use the $1000 savings for the setting.

But I should say that if the stone you are looking at is AGS0, then it should be great! The price is probably okay, too, for the G color.

from the numbers and the ideal-scope that i provided.... is this ring going to have the "WOW" factor.... lots of fire/sparkle???

thanks!

can someone please help me? i know there are pleanty of people on this board that can give me an idea if this is a good diamond or not?

I am not sure what I am looking for in the idealscope?

Yes, this will be a very pretty, sparkly diamond!

Am I getting the most for my money with this diamond, or are there better diamonds out there in this price range?

Thanks!

In your price range, this is a good buy. We don't have all the info on it to truly compare though.

I found one, that flip flops color and clarity. 1.58 H VS2 for 9765.00. The difference in size is minimal, and would not be noticable. It would save you about 500.00. And there is a video of it. I think these two stones would be comperable in performance (an edge might go to GOG stone, maybe). It's just a matter of whether you want the savings, or a different color/clarity. And H would be fine in a well cut Princess.

Is a 1.56/1.58 ct going to provide a "WOW" factor?

I want something that is "BIG" but not gaudy if that makes sense...

My future fiance is 23 years old with a 5.5 ring size.

Thanks again for your help!!!

For me personally sparkle creates more of a wow factor then something that is dead and lifeless and huge.

I would believe Ellen when she says that it will be sparkly and fiery :). 1.5ish cts is quite sizeable and definitely something that would have presence combine that with something that sparkles yes I would say it would have WOW factor

Well, it depends. I wear a round that measure 7.25 in diameter (that's how big it faces up, not ct. weight per se), on a 5.5 finger. I live in the midwest, where diamonds on average are definitely smaller. So to my friends, yes it was pretty big/wow.

If where you live is the same, it will be a very nice size. If you live where others wear larger diamonds, it will not be small, but it won't be "big".

Squares face up smaller for their ct. weight than rounds of the same size. My round is bigger than your Princess, but it's a 1.40 ct.

You could definitely go bigger without being gaudy, but of course that means a bigger budget. I hate to be ambiguous, but I hope this helped.

And you're very welcome.
