Just to add, my bf and I saw this stone in person and it''s very white and sparkly... Thing is when I enter the specs on the Cut Advisor it doesn''t come out looking so great... In addition, I am worried about the thin girdle... Is that a problem?

graded by which lab?

AGS?

What numbers are you using for the HCA? See if you can get the pavilion angle rather than the pavilion depth percent, you can mix percents and angles, but apparently it is preferable to stick to one or the other, so I would say to get the angle. A thin girdle should be fine. Does this diamond have an AGS report as DF asks?

Hi thanks for replying!

It''s a Polar Bear diamond (I am located in Canada) so it''s certified by Gem Scan (which I also hear isn''t too great but very popular here in Canada)

I was mizing angles and percent since that is the only info I had... I will try using just percent and see if it comes out any better. The diamond looked breathtaking to me but then again I am not a diamond expert by any means...

One more thing - it was listed for 7600$

I am not entirely sure, but I think it is best to not mix angles and percents, you can do it, but the most accurate result on the HCA comes from using angles. If you could get the pavilion angle, that would be very useful, ask the vendor if he has it. It sounds like a very pretty diamond, as you have seen it and love it, then well worth your consideration!

Boy, that price seems awfully low for the specs you post!

I know :|

Hence why I think something is wrong....
