Hello everyone this is my first posting here. I am in the market for an engagement ring and have been looking at a lot of the online vendors. I found this stone at bluenile,

http://www.bluenile.com/diamonds_details.asp?__fun_frm=i&pid=LD01033485&filter_id=0
Round Cut Diamond
Price: 6,683
Carot weight: 1.01 (6.53mm-6.56mm x 3.91mm)
Cut: Ideal (bluenile''s definition) Excellent (On the GIA cut grade)
Color: G
Clairty: VS2
Depth %: 59.7
Table %: 58%
Crown angle: 34
Pavilion angle: 40.8
Polish: Excellent
Symmetry: Excellent
Girdle: Thin to Medium faceted
Culet: None
Fluorescence: None

I was hoping people could give me some advice on if this stone looks good as well as if anyone sees any red flags that I should be careful of. I am apprehencive about purchasing a diamond online but the prices are much better than my local jewelers. I appreciate any help that you all give.

Thanks!

The price is fine. Keep in mind that you don''t have an upgrade policy with BN and with other companies like WF, goodoldgold, etc, you do.

The specs look fine overall. Some like a slightly smaller table in the 54-57 range...but it won''t make a huge difference.
