Hi,
I have only been learning about diamonds for the last couple of months and I feel like I have barely scratched the surface. I have gone to a variety of brick and mortar stores and thought I had found a reputable one but still feel I can do better online (I am in Ontario btw). Our max budget for a stone is $4500 with currency conversion and so even this diamond is pushing it. We are looking to have it set on a setting similar to the Tacori 2598 RD. Do you think at stone ranging from .75 to .85 would hold its weight on this setting?
Any feedback on this stone would be more than appreciated :D Looking for SI1, G colour, ideal cut, symmetry and polish.

Thanks so much!

Not the best diamond in terms of optics but still very good. This is a much better diamond.

Both of the diamonds in question will be beautiful in person. The two stones however cannot be compared as apples to apples. To the OP, you seem to have done some research. If you are looking for H&A optical symmetry than the Expert Selection is not going to be the "best diamond" as diamond-enthusiast pointed out, but if you are looking for a near-H&A and want to save some money or put it into that F color grade than thats entirely up to you.

The Expert Selection you have found is a nice one for what it is, you should be aware that the other diamond suggested will have a higher light return under the table meaning that it will be brighter overall, but the contrast pattern on the Expert Selection is likely to make the arrows stand out more in diffuse fluorescent lighting.
