Is this a good setting?

Have been trying to make a decision for a month. Thank you so much for the help you guys have given me. I found a setting on ebay. The link is below

I loved the setting but am not sure if its a rip off. They say their diamonds are UGL certified (the pave). Does the certification of the pave diamonds matter. I am planning to buy the center one from BG or whiteflash.

Pls let me know your experiences on ebay settings

Well, there is no way to really know the quality of their jewelry, so I would not take the chance when it comes to spending that much and setting a fine quality diamond in it. There is a problem with that design anyway, because it would have the diamond sitting way up high above the halo, which does not look good, in my opinion, and it definitely puts the stone at risk of being easily whacked against things. So I would pass and get a setting through your diamond vendor preferably. Buying pave rings is risky if you don't know the quality.

I would ask this over on the colored stone boards, they tend to buy more from the ebay setting vendors.
