Hello everyone, I went and saw some GIA certified diamond which was eyeclean with white color in my eye for $2200 (Canadian $).
Could this be a good deal??

Thank you

You really need to stick to GIA excellent if you want a well cut, very well performing stone. That one is too deep (don't go below 62.3), and the angles could be better. You never want a very thin girdle because it could chip more easily. Stick to thin, medium, to slightly thick and avoid extremes on either end. You want at least very good on polish and symmetry. I'd really tell your jeweler that you only want to consider GIA excellent cut. That is a broad range with some stones better than others, but you're going to do better than with a very good cut in most cases.

There are beautiful GIA VG cut diamonds, I do own one, but this one doesn't look good enough...thin girdle is a red light.
