I've seen a diamond halo pendant in a shop where haggling is the done thing. They've quoted me £1,000 for a 0.35ct round brilliant centre stone VS and F colour with a tiny diamond halo around it on an 18ct white gold chain. In your opinions, is this a good price, or should I aim to get them down? The next size down is 0.26 and is on sale for £800. I want the bigger one though! The sales assistant said all their diamonds are excellent or ideal in terms of cut.
What do you think? I don't want to haggle with them out of fear of being rude if this is already an exceptionally good price.
