Hi I am a newbie to the site. I stumbled across this on ebay. Is it a good price? Both rings are similar in style. Please, if you all dont mind let me know your thoughts on both. Thanks. I am in chicagoland area and I have decided tomake an appointment with this guy www.dscaasi.com but these rings keep call my name. Thanks.

i hope you know there is no lab report come with these rings.

Those prices seem awfully low for what they''re for. You know the old saying; if it looks too good to be true, it probably is. And when spending so much money, you want to know you have a quality piece.

In my honest opinion, I''d say goodbye to those rings and go with Issac at DimendScassi. He''s had several good reviews on this board.

I personally wouldn''t consider a major diamond purchase on Ebay unless I really knew and trusted the seller. I WOULD NOT assume that those grading stats are accurate..

I think it is safe to assume that at best, you''ll get what you pay for.

You might consider checking out the seller''s neutral, negative and mutually withdrawn feedback at: toolhaus.org

I wouldn''t risk it, I think if you could see a cream of the crop cut diamond which you could find online for the same money you would really see the difference. I agree with everyone else, no certs which is troubling, stick with Issac - I don''t know anything about him but a good vendor is a professional who can show you the difference between diamonds and help find the best fit for you. Spend your budget wisely, there are a lot of diamonds out there, too many to settle.

Hi there,

I bought from a ebay seller some 2-years ago. Even though this company had 100% feedback, the diamond i recieved was very disappointing. Most uneducated diamond buyers will be quite happy and non the wiser. BUT..if you want a quality diamond ring, then please walk away from this.

You have been warned!

There are lots of folk on PS who will give you advice and help. Please, please just take your time!

We want you to make a purchase that you will be really happy with!

A friend of mine bought a ring on ebay from a large seller and when he got it he was very happy but once he saw the ring I bought my girlfriend the one he had purchased just didn''t compare. Just remember with out the lab report those numbers don''t really mean anything when the seller is giving them to you. As long as you realize that you are getting what you pay for, I would look at all the online vendors on this site first before making any decisions.
