Hmm, I don''t care for that policy too much. Is there a good return policy? Or can you cancel the order if you don''t like the IS?

The reason I ask is, wiith the deeper PA, and not truly knowing what both angles are, it could be great, or not.

I can cancel the order after viewing the ideal scope and I also have a ten day return policy. I''m getting it through Whiteflash (not inhouse though).

Does this stone come with a certificate like AGS or GIA?
I am asking, because you stated that the cut is Ideal, which would point me to an AGS cert, but to earn the AGS-0 or Ideal grade the symmetry and polish both have to be Ideal as well. It probably should say Excellent. I ran into this during my own search too.

The stone rates a nice 1.9 in the HCA, everything below 2 is worth considering. It lands within GIA Excellent, but slightly outside AGS-0 territory.

For a 1.15 ct stone you would expect it to face-up with a 6.80 mm diameter, so your measurements are OK.
And H, VS2 is my sweet spot.

I hope the IS picture turns out well.

Thanks for your responses. Just want to clear things up, this is GIA certified and the Cut is Excellent. I had WF looked at it and they told me the diamond is really good for $6k. I don''t really trust sales people all that often, so I like to ask for other people''s opinion as well.

WF doesn''t want to sell a bad diamond because they have to be willing to take it back on trade. I would agree that you couldn''t trust a salesperson from a drop shipper, but WF certainly can look at stones and tell you whether the stone is a good one or not. That said, I really prefer buying diamonds from them that they have cut. But you pay a little extra to get that, sometimes.
