Hi everyone. I have really enjoyed reading Pricescope and boy have I learned alot! I need opinions on the quality of this diamond.

measurements 6.14-6.18x3.83
the depth% 62.2
, table% 56
, crown angle 36.0
, pavilion angle 40.6
and cutlet none

the above is for a 0.90 GVS1

Thanks so much for all your help!

Wowsers! You found an FIC that falls smack dab in the middle of the GIA and AGS0 charts.

HCA 1.8 FIC
Light Return = Excellent
Fire = Excellent
Scintallation = VG
Spread = VG

Any chance of an idealscope picture for verification?

Hi, Thanks for the link. I like the look of classic cut diamonds rather than H&A''s. I guess that is just a personal preference

Is 4500 a good price?

Thanks so much!

$4500 sounds very reasonable. An idealscope would help to prove to you that your stone is not leaking too much light. You might be able to find a jeweler who has one, or else you can purchase your own. It''s great that you''ll be able to see the stone with your own eyes though and see if it is the one for you.

Is it GIA ot AGS graded?

Hi Heb,

The diamond you posted looks great if you want a fiery ideal cut! What you could do, if your jeweller doesn't have access to an IS, you can order a beginner Idealscope fairly inexpensively here.

In case DS doesn't pop in for a while, I just wanted to let you know that GIA is perfectly fine! GIA and AGS are considered to be the top tier labs for diamond grading, no worries.

Hi Lorelei. My main concern is the scintillation. I love lots of sparkle! I''m upgrading for my 10th anniversary with a new diamond and setting. My current ering is a .57 H vvs2 ideal thats VERY sparkly in a Whitehouse mounting(not my style!). I''m also looking at a .83 H vvs2 but I don''t have the specs yet. Once I get the 2 diamods and Martin Flyer donut pave mounting in I will post pictures with both diamonds in the mounting. Thanks for all your help!
