Is this a good diamond?

Any feedback or expert advice would be greatly appreciated! I don't necessarily know if the images look good. Also, I'm very much open to suggestions.

Thanks everyone for your help!!

It looks pretty good-- maybe a little dull in the middle.

You could get this super ideal if you go a little smaller in size (though super ideals tend to look whiter and bigger because of their precise cuts):

.80 I VS1 ask for a video!!! It will be amazing.

Thanks, whitewave! Wow the crafted by infinity is quite impressive.
Quick question - what makes it look a little dull in the middle? Is it the second image that shows green/brown? Do you think it will still be an excellent performer?

Cheers!

Yes, I suspect it has some light leakage in the middle-- maybe someone better than I am at ASET reading will come along and confirm.

I think it should be a great looking diamond-- not excellent-- not top performer but perfectly acceptable.

I would still get a video of the CBI just to compare so you can say you compared it to an excellent diamond.

Hi @ChrisB703 :wavey:

I might have to disagree with @whitewave on the middle of that B2C stone. IS looks solidly red and the ASET also looks solidly dark red in the middle. Image of the actual diamond looks good overall. Interested to see what other more experienced PS’ers have to say on it.

Twinning wisp running right under the table with the feather down around 6 o’clock near the girdle.

It has a low CA (33, maybe this is a contributing factor as to why whitewave thinks it looks a little dull in the centre) but with a shallower depth, looks like it should score well on HCA (which it does, it’s 0.7).

Discounted due to medium blue fluorescence which may result in the stone looking a little blue when exposed to UV light sources. This is a “feature” that you will either love or hate in such a high colour (D) stone. For me, provided that the stone doesn’t look milky or hazy as a result of the fluorescence, it would be a positive.

For the price though, very nice for a non-superideal. It’s got good spread in my books.
