Hi all!
First let me say, thanks for all your knowledge and info! I love Pricescope! Now for some opinions,

My husband recently bought me a loose diamond for my new Hearts on Fire set. I just wanted to know if this is a good diamond in terms of dimension and cut. I have the GIA certification but don''t really know how to read it for table and depth. Here are the stats:

Round Brilliant
dimensions: 6.22 - 6.29 x 3.88 mm
carat weight: .94 ct
color: D
Clarity: SI1
Cut Grade: Excellent

Clarity char. crystal, feather
finish
Polish VG
Symmetry VG
Fluorescence Medium Blue

I know I have a ''blue white'' diamond which is fine by me, but I just want to know that my dear hubby did a good job! I should get it here soon but the wait kills!

Thanks guys!

to assess the cut quality, you'll need the specific numbers. crown angle, pavillion, table etc. on your GIA report the information is all there If you have the GIA report number you can list it here and we can use that to look for you. But if you already bought and is not returnable, and if you love the way it looks then its all that matters imo.

The inscription registry is GIA 2106300618

I agree, I havent gotten it yet, but I hope I love it! The jewelers said we can return it within 30 days of purchase and choose another diamond if we are not satisfied so I just wanted to get some opinions. Thanks for the reply

hmmm, this show a 4 on the HCA tool. I think you can do better, but I don''t know what your price point is as well?

We paid about $2505 for it. I think we got a pretty good deal, I just REEEAALLLy hope that I like the way it looks. Thanks for all your help, I understand what you are saying. I guess I''ll just have to see it and like you said, if it sparkles and I love it, then that should be all that matters! I will post a pic of it as soon as I get it.

sounds like a very good price! congrats.

Sounds like a great price for it. The Medium Blue can do very neat things to the diamond. I''m sure it will be very sparkly :)
Post pictures when you get it! As you know we all love that here :)

See what you think when you see it, it might be ok looking at the lower girdle facets and rest of the info, however sometimes with that angle combo you can get light leakage so check the diamond out carefully to see if you notice a dark ring around the table, or any dark dull patches on the surface of the stone, if not and you love it thats great!

D&T thanks for the report info, very helpful!!

Thanks! I got it today and I really do love it! It might not be the perfect diamond like the ones on this site, but I think it''ll do nicely. Thanks for all your help and look for the ring pics!
