Hey Guys,

I am getting ready to purchase a diamond and ring very soon and wanted to get your opinion on this diamond. It is going to be set in a Tiffany Legacy Inspired ring with milgrained edges from Exceldiamonds.

If you could tell me what you think and if it's a good buy at $1539 I would really appreciate. I am trying to get the most bang for my buck. My girlfriend wants a ring that is very near colorless and I don't want to go lower than SI1 in clarity. Without further adue here are the images and numbers.

Graded by GIA:

Carat: .71
Clarity: SI1
Color: H
Cut Grade: Very Good
Polish: Excellent
Symmetry: Excellent
Flourecence: Strong Blue
Depth: 62.3%
Table: 57%
Crown Angle: 34
Crown Height: 14.5%
Pavilion Angle: 41
Pavilion Depth: 43%
Girdle: STK to THK

I look forward to hearing from you guys and what you think.

Thanks,

Gary

It looks good thus far, can you post the diameter measurement please? Make sure it is eyeclean to your standards by asking the vendor. Also make sure that the strong blue fluorescence isn't making the diamond look cloudy, rare but prudent to check.

ASET looks good to me. But girdle is a little thick, might be hiding some weight there. What is the physical dimension of the stone?

Hey guys, I edited the main topic but here are the dimensions: 5.66 - 5.71 x 3.54mm.

Also, please assume that it is Eye Clean.

Thanks again!

Gary

Dimensions are not much smaller than an ideal cut 0.71c, at 5.75mm. So looks good to me. Price is good too. Good luck. :)
