You need to get more information....like crown and pavilion angles from a Sarin report, in order to determine if it's well cut. That will make a huge difference in any pricing that you pay--well cut stones may command a higher price than say a mediocre maul cut stone. It also depends on if you are buying online or offline. Offline prices are higher because vendors have to pay the B&M overhead.

As a very rough estimate, assuming the cut is acceptable (from the info given...it doesn't look as though it'd be top-notch excellent), maybe $5k assuming you are buying online. Heavy discounts given for J color and SI2 clarity.

Also found this which will help give you an idea of pricing comparison:

An excellent cut Hearts and Arrows AGS0 stone with an HCA score of 1.4 EX. It's a 1.28 J SI2 with Ideal/Ideal Polish and Symmetry and it's $4700. It's a brokered stone from www.goodoldgold.com so they would have to call it in for you, it's not in house, but from the #'s it's very nice.

1.28 J SI2 : 4700

depth %: 60.7

AGS0

crown angle: 34.9

pav angle: 40.8

Chances are it is a very nice stone. As Mara notes, having crown and pavilion angles would be helpful, but the vast majority of the time the crown and pavilion angles for a stone with those depth and table percentages are within the range of where they should be. Read the 60:60 tutorial on this site to find out how depth and table are not always reliable guides (there are some combintations that result in a terribly cut stone).

Other factors are the type, location, number and visibility of the inclusions that result in the si2 grade and whether the stone has a GIA or AGS certificate.

As far as price, I am guessing $3500 - $5000 if you are buying online.

Good luck!
