We can''t judge a princess from the numbers. We need at least an image, preferably ASET. Sorry.

What is your budget and specs you are looking at? Maybe we can find something for you?

Hi Chelle, I can't read the reports, unfortunately.

But I have some info for you on the question you asked in another thread. It was on if HPD would set a stone of theirs with a setting from another vendor. Here is Mr. Wink's response!

"Yes, we are happy to do this, and yes we do charge for this, but the fee must be determined for each job. We assume no liability for items that are not purchased from us, ie if a prong snaps then we will quote to rebuild it properly, but we will not pay to repair it. We do assume full liability on stones that we sell while we are working on them.

Ditto.

Do you have any more info on the diamond such as ASET images please?

Thank you for the great responses, I have e-mailed and asked for the ASET image.

The report reads:

Shape and Cut: Square Brilliant
Measurements: 5.48x5.26x3.96
Carat: .93
Color: G
Grade: VS2
Polish: Good
Symmetry: Good
Fluor: None

And hopefully the attached pics can be viewed.

The price is $3200.

Stone-Cold:

I''m torn, I don’t know what I want (I am woman - lol), I would like something at least .95ct''s - 1.25 carats, and like round, square, and cushion cuts. I also, do not want to be able to see inclusions when looking at it daily:). A SI1 would be ok - if the inclusions are not visible to the naked eye/can be covered by prongs, etc. The color is negotiable - however I do not want something that is yellow. I never thought I wanted anything below a G - however have learned a lot on here the last several months! You ladies/gentlemen are AWESOME! An H or I is a possibility ... maybe with a little fluorescence?

I do know I like halo/pave settings, and do not want the setting to disguise the stone be it is too much. Here are some settings I like:

http://www.knoxjewelers.biz/index.htm?crn=203&rn=1561&action=show_detail
The first is my favorite - but the setting is a bit pricey for me. We''d like to spend somewhere in the price range of $4K. I wish there was a setting similar with a single band, I''d like that look after the wedding band is added.

Again - THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH to all:)!

Option 1: Get the map of inclusions and figure out if the setting will hide them.
Option 2: Make sure you have a good return policy, and take the diamond to get set ASAP, so you'll know if the setting can hide the flaws. (Be sure NOT to have it fully set before you know for certain--you don't want to void the return policy.)
Option 3: Sigh, keep looking.

But that really is a fantastic price. Well done!

Pretty settings, post the ASET of the diamond when you get it, and any photos you may have. It doesn't appear to be the best cut Princess, also check out the girdle where it says extremely thin that it isn't a potential durability issue. It isn't always the case but proceed with caution, which vendor has it?

Thank you for the great responses!

Lorelei: The stone is from www.abazias.com, but I am not partial to purchasing from them.

Thanks Stone Cold: That stone looks great, but I still need to purchase a setting with that $4K budget.

Maybe I can find a nice cushion to go with this setting (and come in around a $4K budget?):

Anyone have time for a mission (wink):)!?

Does anyone know if Knox Jewelers offers a PS discount?

Why since you ask, of course. What is it you would like? Please send me an email so that I have the details.

Do a search on them, there are a few settings from them floating around.
