yes, you can do much better (much, much, much!)
try putting your criteria in the ''pricescope your diamond'' search feature above and select ''cut quality search'' or ''in house'' you will find that you can get at least a carat in a well cut diamond for that price.
 
The diamond is too deep, the table is too larger, and the price is expensive. Please read the tutorials here about cut quality. Cut is number 1, in order to make your diamond shine and sparkle.
