Is this a good deal?

I personally don''t think it''s such a good deal because it''s not an ideal cut, you have no pictures, no idealscope images, and no ASET tests. These things all will tell you about the appearance of the diamond and how well it returns light.

CUT is really what determines how nice or how bad a diamond looks, clarity comes second.

I''d prefer to see you get an AGS0 stone from Whiteflash because it will come with all the things mentioned above not to mention a lifetime upgrade policy.

how do I go about asking for the PS discount?

Say "I'm on PS, could you please tell me the price with the PS discount?"

Edited: I mean that you can get the discount when you bankwire the $ to WF. Many vendors have bankwire discounts if you find a stone elsewhere too.

I agree that I''d look for an AGS0 princess stone especially when ordering over the internet. Both WhiteFlash and Good Old Gold carry them, and both also offer upgrade policies for the future! You''d be safe with VS1 or VS2 if you want to be relatively assured of getting and eye-clean diamond.

is the first one the same as an ags-000 ? its an older cert

No, and that's why I would prefer the second over the first. But the first stone has a nice idealscope and ASET, so it wouldn't be a bad choice. But the second one probably will be nicer.

ETA: The first stone is an ES and not an ACA, so something, I haven't had a chance to figure out what, wasn't 100% "top notch", but they usually represent very nice stones and a good value.
