Hey, I was wondering if there is a catch in this deal ? i saw this diamond ring:

I would not say it is a good deal.

It is four small diamonds set to look like one. From what I understand invisible settings are hard to fix when one stone falls out.

Worse is that they they say the diamond clarity is clear and don't say anything about clarity. Clear is not a diamond color, since they won't tell you color or clarity it is probably really bad quality .

First they say approx. diamond weight: 0,90- 1.39ct and the exact diamond weight is 1ct? Honestly it gives the impression that they are trying to take advantage of people who don't know a lot about diamonds.

Now these are second hand but are also invisible set. Just to give you an idea of what they are worth as soon as you take them out of the store.

Walk away from this place and quickly. PS can find you a MUCH better ring in your budget. Just post your requirements.

What do you mean by similar ring? It's hard to see in the picture you posted, but that ring doesn't have one center stone -- it has four smaller diamonds set to look like one bigger diamond in the center. Kind of like this: http://www.zales.com/product/index.jsp?productId=11492161&kpc=1
Is that something that you are looking for?

The ring you posted is cheap because small diamonds are cheap -- the biggest stone in that ring is .15 carat.

Around $700-$800, the princess cut is a preference but i think any cut will work if it looks good Thanks!

Honestly I would not buy it as an engagement ring. It is liable to break and might not be fixable.

If you are really set on it. As from the ones I should you, I don't think it is "worth" more than 200-250.

With your budget you could have gotten this http://diamondbistro.com/category/216/Natural-Diamond-Center/listings/30623/Princess-cut-Diamond-Engagement-ring-14k-$3400.html it says sales pending but it doesn't hurt to inquire about it.

With that budget you could find a nice Princess solitaire of roughly 0,40ct from a Pricescope vendor (the biggest stone in the one you have shown is 0,15).
