Hello,

I'm looking to buy a loose stone for my upcoming engagement. My GF is not color sensitive nor very picky or super informed about diamonds, so I'm shooting for G-H color and VS1-SI2 clarity. I've been doing a lot of research lately and have come across this stone which I'm seriously thinking about buying. My last stop is to get pricescope's opinion. I've read so many threads here and have learned so much from this place. Please let me know if you think this is a good deal. Hopefully I've listed all of the necessary information in the below image. Please let me know if any more information is necessary. My budget is around $3000. Thanks so much!

[edit] It looks like the site resized my diamond information picture! I've uploaded it as an attachment, maybe it won't resize it as an attachment. Sorry about that. :(

[edit2] Okay, that image is simply too big and keeps getting resized. I'm going to attach them separately... :wall:

Much better!

Personally, I would opt for this stone, as it is same color, equally eye-clean, has a superior cut, is less expensive, AND is slightly larger!

Wow, that diamond is better in almost every category and scored at 1.3 on HCA. Unfortunately, it looks like someone has already taken your suggestion and reserved it. But this is pretty clear evidence to me that there are much better deals out there and it is probably worth it to keep looking, so thank you for that. A little bummed some scavenger got to this rock before me, though!

Are you certain the stone is reserved?

I have a feeling it may merely be new inventory, so not possible to reserve via online.

Give Whiteflash a call (best option), or engage an online chat, and they will be able to confirm. If in fact that stone has been plucked, ask them for some reasonable suggestions in your budget, and see what they can do for you. They may have inventory not yet on the website, as well, so it's worth asking.

Once you speak with them, let us know if that stone has in fact been snatched up, and we can do some digging.

Best of luck!

I found this one

Make sure it is eye clean! Tell them Mariel says Hi. Ask for the pricescope discount which is another 2.5% off

I think you could find others in your price range too!

That dark crystal on the table is most likely going to be visible. I would probably avoid this stone.

You were right! It was simply new and they were waiting for the original GIA cert to come in. So I reserved it! I will be paying for it tonight after a tiny bit more research. I'm 98% sure I'm getting it. Thank you so much. This stone is truly a great find. I think my original pick was good, but not the best. I think this one might just be the best for my price range / online purchase. Thanks so much. I really appreciate it!

Happy to help! Looks like a great stone.

I have worked with Whiteflash in the past and they are great - very easy to deal with and attentive customer service.

Be sure to post pictures after you get everything together, so we can see the finished product!
