Is this a good deal? 1.67ct., H-color, VS2, 6k-Radiant

Hello Pricescope Community,

Is this a good buy or should I stay away? Radiant 1.67 ct., H-color, VS2 for $6,000. I've attached the GIA cert for review. This is private sale, he stated the diamond did not contain a GIA cert, but sent it off to get appraised which they laser inscribed the GIA number. Is this possible? Cert attached.

I have been searching for an elongated cushion, which this Radiant has the right dimensions I am looking for and thousands of dollars cheaper!! I will only be using the center stone from this ring. Do I have to worry about anything pulling out the center stone? Potential cracking or anything else? A jeweler will personally be taking care of everything.
