Hi,

I''m trying to find a good deal for my diamond engagement ring. I found this ring at bluenile.com. Please let me know if this is a good buy and if i should trust them. My diamond is 0.83 E VS1 Ideal cut excellent polish and symmetry with GIA cert for $3890 (just diamond). I was told this diamond is from European vendor, is there a difference between diamond graded in Europe or the US? is there any other trusted website i can look at? thanks a millian. this is my first time ever purchasing jewelry online so i''m very nervous!

There''s not enough info in your post to tell whether the diamond is great. You can search for blue nile and see what others have said in the past. The vendors that are listed on Pricescope are here. Also, check out the HCA tool to see if your diamonds measure up. You want a diamond under 2.0.

If it has a GIA cert it would have been graded in the US. I am sure you can trust Blue Nile, just remember they don''t have an upgrade policy in case you ever want to go bigger. Try the Search by Cut tool under Prices in the menu above to get an idea of what a .83 E VS1 should go for online.
