Found this Oval Brilliant cut diamond online, after exhaustive reading on here and elsewhere!

I've been told the fluresence doesn't show, but it has a 'medium bow tie effect'. The numbers seem to indicate pretty good proportions/cut but with no set way to grade the cut of an oval I'm still unsure.

I haven't been able to get a picture yet but would appreciate any input or advice! Thanks

Details are
Price per carat $4,552
Carat weight 1.03
Shape Oval
Cut Very Good
Color F
Clarity VVS1
Length/width ratio 1.40
Depth % 62.5%
Table % 59.0%
Polish Excellent
Symmetry Excellent

Culet None
Fluorescence Strong blue
Measurements 7.98 x 5.70 x 3.56 mm

Post the picture and aset image.

Edit - just saw you don't have a picture.

You cant judge fancy cut stones by the numbers. You need pictures and aset images. When you get them, post and we'll be
able to tell you a little more.

I suggest you look at a site that has pictures like James Allen. If you post your budget and basic specs we can help you look.

Thanks tyty,

Budget $5000
I'm after a 1 carat oval
Cut/look is priority, and although I realise you can't completly rely on numbers I have been using this table aiming for best possible (https://www.pricescope.com/wiki/diamonds/oval-cut-diamond)

I would also like to try and keep to the following
Colour F or better
VS1 or better
Ratio appro 1.4:1

I haven't seen anyone providing ideal scope images online, do you usually need to request this?

Those numbers wont actually tell you if its a nice stone or not. There are many angles in an oval that affect the
faceting pattern that that table does not take into account.

Your specs may be a little too restrictive.

You have to request these at James Allen...you can request up to 3

Not finding much at JA. These dont fit your specs but its what JA has at the moment. I'm not that thrilled with any of them.

Call Good olg Gold and ask them to source an oval for you. No bowtie and great performance being what you want to relay to them.
