Is this a decent diamond that I have purchased?

I'd return it and get a princess that AGS graded their top cut grade of AGS-0.
GIA does not grade cut of princesses, but AGS does and cut quality is what results in the wonderful light show only a diamond can provide, not color or clarity.
Another route to be assured of a well-cut princess is selecting a branded cut like Solasfera or ACA from Whiteflash.

You picked a D color.
Go out and see AGS or GIA-graded diamonds to discover your color preference.
Don't look at EGL-graded diamonds since you cannot believe their color, clarity and cut grades.

After seeing many diamonds with your own eyes if you really still feel a D is worth the very high price then by all means get one.
Otherwise pick the color grade that is the compromise of appearance and price you are comfortable with.
Same with clarity.

Again IMO cut is the #1 priority.

I paid $2,140 for this one so nothing more than that. If a better option is found on their site, I can return my order and get that one instead. It has to be from their site because I purchased it via financing as I don't have any kind of money to get it from elsewhere. I also purchased the setting from them as well. A bigger size would work as well but nothing smaller than the 0.70.

For the size and color, its not a bad choice. Cut is decent but not excellent.

Don't know if it will be noticeable but if were buying a square diamond I wanted the diamond to be square.

It looked like a square to me but I guess I was wrong.

As far as the AGS rating, what would you consider it to be since GIA didn't rate it?
