Is this a bad diamond?

I've been wanting to upgrade my 1.7 g for about 4 years now. I found this on excel diamonds. My jeweler already stated she'll give me 100% for the diamond..which would be $9k. I know she can't match this price..besides it not being a great cut..what am I missing here?

Is an I1 clarity an upgrade for you? And that stone scores a 5.8 on the HCA tool, so it'll probably not return a lot of light. What are the stats on your 1.7?

For a stone that large, I wouldn't want anything less than VS2. You "might" be able to find an eye clean SI1 but it will take a lot longer to source one. Also with a stone that large, the clarity may pose a concern for easily getting damaged - it just depends on what the inclusions are.
