I know, I know, I should just NOT read them, but... I see how to subscribe to a member, but how do I block a member''s posts?

I don''t know of a way to block posts or threads from a member. Even if you could you will still see what they wrote quoted in responses or referred to in responses by other members. I just ignore posts from members who irritate me. It really isn''t hard to do at all once you get used to it.

HAHAHA no, it''s not you.

Maybe I''m asking a hypothetical question--if I can SUBSCRIBE to someone, then maybe I could/should be able to do the opposite...

If you have "subscribed" to a specific member under the old system (I''m not sure you can do this anymore...) - and want to "unsubscribe" - Please contact Leonid or Irena (Pricescope) and request that you be unsubscribed.

Other than that - I hope you are not annoyed at me...

What exactly does subscribing to someone do? What is it all about? I never paid any attention to it.

I think if you subscribe to someone you have them permanently attached to your hip, and you can not forget thier Birthday,
You have to buy them a Christmas present and take them on double dates:)))

Jensia, lol! Moonriver, I think if you subscribe to someone, you are notified of all their posts??? I really don''t know either, and have wondered myself what it was all about. But I would hate to subscribe to someone and then find out they couldn''t get rid of me!!!

No, that''s not what I ment.

Just a general question because, well, I''m weak. It''s like watching a train wreck. You know it''s going to happen, but...you just can''t look away. I''m off to practice my "don''t look, don''t look, don''t look" skills.

Oh, and think "white diamonds" as someone I would''ve liked to block....

What exactly does subscribing to someone do? What is it all about? I never paid any attention to it.

If you click on someone''s "icon" or "profile" in the upper right corner there is a way to "subscribe to user" ... basically, you get emailed will all of that person''s comments on any thread on pricescope. Then on those emails there are links that will take you directly to that discussion yourself.

Maybe we should all "out" or confess our subscriptions

. Nah! Never mind.

You can un-subscribe to a thread or a person!

When you get an email notification, open it and notice at the bottom there is a link to where you can "change your subscription options"...

I have never subscribed to anyone, but I have had some people tell me they subscribed to me which I found sweet and kind of funny because I make so many posts....do they have time to read anything else?!

There have been THREADS I have subscribed to so I get the email notification on when it''s been updated that I have eventually wanted to unsubscribe to, but I never figured it out and then just kept forgetting to ask!
