Is there any movement with an ultrasonic cleaner?

This may be a foolish question...but I just purchased a Sharper Image ultrasonic cleaner and was wanting to make sure it was working properly. I guess I was expecting that there would be some visible "vibration" created in the water. I don''t see any movement at all. I just wanted to make sure it was working properly, gotta keep my fiancée’s e-ring sparkly ya know!
