Trying to mix and match stones I'm being shown and would like to know if this is an apples-to apples comparison since the tool says for round stones.

Nope. Not even close. It's like comparing apples to a car.

You need pictures of the stones to post. And also sometimes an ASET can be helpful. The faceting is key. You can have stones with very similar numbers and get one that's gorgeous and another that's a straight dud.

If you need help narrowing the numbers. This is VERY general, so keep in mind that numbers out of these ranges might lead to a great looking stone as well, but this is just to help you have the best shot at a good looking stone.

Table 64% and under
Depth 70% and under
Crown height over 10% is okay but over 14% preferred. If the table is big, the crown height is very important.
Polish VG or better.
Symmetry VG okay but preference for Ex.
Girdle-- avoid very thin or very thick. And it should be even, no wild fluctuations.

Nope- there are guidelines and then ASET images.
