I really don''t like the words butt and I especially don''t like the word butthole! At my house butts are bumpers and, well, I just don''t feel the need to talk about buttholes very often, LOL! That word gives me the heebes.


Fart is something I''ve had to get used to. With kids it happens alot and each time they think it is as funny as the last.

Grossly enough my mother was just staying with us for a few days and talked about farts almost constantly. It''s the weirdest thing in the world. She''s obsessed. I think she was trying to be funny for the kids...Or she''s off of her rocker!

Ahem, or there is the possibility that she was trying to get under my skin as I am known as the family prude............

Miranda, you are so right. My grandkids, think fart is the funniest word they ever said. They say butthole to eachother and everyone stopped that instantly. I bet your mom was trying to be funny for the kids.

Thongs!!!! Haha! My MIL who is not an especially feminine or small woman went into a store looking for "thongs". She said the saleswoman looked at her, horrified, and took her to the lingere department. MIL, who would consider going to hell before wearing a thong shouted at the saleswoman, "THE KIND FOR YOUR FEET!!!" LOL - to hear her tell this story is hysterical. She was so offended that someone would think SHE would wear a thong.

Haha!!! We never use the correct terms for body parts. Its just too much!! My husband doesn''t use the word ''nipples'' he says ''nipple-ass''...

This dislike for the word panties has me cracking up. Back when my DH and I used to rock climb we went to this climbing area just outside Las Vegas that had some really great climbs. It was called the Panty Wall. Some of the names of the climbs... Silk Panties, Panty Prow, Scanty Panty, Thong, Cover My Buttress and one of my favs... Butt Floss. LOL!! I kind of got used to that word back then. I''m sure people thought we were weird when we were out at dinner talking about our day.

I really hate the word gunk. Don''t know why, just hate it. Fart is pretty bad, too.

I also hate the word weiner... mostly because my SIL kept saying to me after I won a race ''Congratulations, you''re the big weiner!''. I''m like ''Huh? What are you talking about?''. She kept saying it to me over and over. I guess weiner = winner? I still don''t get it.

I usually prefer the technical names to the slang terms.

I say the *real* version of Va-jay-jay no problem.

I dont think we had euphemisms for body parts when i was a child, so as an adult, I still prefer the clinical terms.

And we NEVER said panties. NEVER!!

I think poop is sooo funny. My FI cracks up when I say "that''s a crock of poopy", gets him everytime.
