too much rounding in the % too be accurate.

Not for crown height percentage because the diamond's table introduces variability.

You can judge RB pavilion angle by knowing pavilion depth % when no culet (aka pointed culet) is present.
A 43% pavilion depth correlates to a 40.8 degree PA. You need the precise number and normal scan tolerances apply.
