Is there a best month/season to buy a diamond?

I am asking because I have been searching both in store and online for certain diamond, have noticed the inventory getting smaller pretty fast this month. I am not in a hurry so I can wait.

Would it be a better time to buy after the holiday rush?

Haha, this question gets asked periodically. The stocks will be continually replenished. If you wait until after the holidays, the Valentines rush starts...
If you see what you want go ahead and get it, if you don''t, then wait until it comes - it will eventually come, it just takes a while sometimes!

The thing to worry about with the holiday rush is not whether there will be enough diamonds (which there always are

), but rather how long it will take to make your ring. Usually rings can be whipped up fairly quickly, but once vendors start getting all those holiday orders, the wait time is a little longer.
