Is the lighting playing tricks on me?

We have couples who disagree on desired shape, size, color, etc... from time to time. My advice has always been - is the potential excitement of the 1 partner greater than the potential disappointment of the other and - how much will the excitement of the 1st make up for that difference. Is it possible your DHs distaste for the Marquise shape will evaporate once he sees the content and excited attitude you display once you own it?

So far, that line of reasoning has seemed to hold up - but only you know your situation.

Very practical advice. Ty. DH thinks that I will regret my purchase and will be stuck with a worthless stone. Since he is my only other pair of eyes assessing the stone, And he is calling it worthless, I need to be sure that the stone is indeed worth at least 860. Lol.
