Is my lab diamond a H&A?

I bought my first lab diamond IGI cert LG723522112 online and am having it set with loosegrowndiamond. (2.84 ct, E, VVS2, Ideal). In the meantime I ran it through the HCA this morning and when I entered the cert number it doesn’t come up as a H&A on the HCA form, but it is listed on the cert as a H&A. I tried to click the H&A button on the HCA tool but it didn’t pull up the HCA score on my stone until I un clicked the H&A button. Hopefully it’s a good stone - the HCA score was 1.1 with all rating excellent except for the spread which was very good (saying it was on the big side).

But I’m wondering is it a Hearts and Arrow diamond since the HCA tool isn’t classifying it as one?

Thanks!

Thank you DejaWiz. I was hoping you’d respond. I can’t wait to get the ring and see the diamond in person. I primarily bought this stone because I wanted an Ideal H&A similar to my smaller natural diamond which is an Ideal H&A stone (1.71, H, SI1) and I love the characteristics of it. I wanted bigger and whiter but with the ideal cut.

I’m so confused why the HCA tool automatically clicked that it isn’t a H&A stone when I used the cert number to pull up the specs?!

By the way, do you have to be in the business to get on the Loupe360 website?

You're very welcome!

I think the HCA tool only designates H&A diamonds that have human vetting with advanced images published (Whiteflash ACA, for example)...I could be wrong.

No, anyone can use the Loupe360 site: just replace the grading report number at the end of the URL to see if a video is available for a given diamond. I'm not in the trade and I use Loupe360 almost every day when helping others find diamonds. :)
