Is my budget realistic? 2 ct+ cushion cut

I currently own a 1.22 ct Brian Gavin Blue round brilliant cut. My husband and I recently talked about upgrading and he likes the size and look of a 1.7-1.8 ct round on my hand. He does not want me to trade in my current ring so I'm "starting over." I've always loved cushion cuts but I know cushions face up smaller so I'll probably have to go 2 ct+ to get the same effect?

My question is, is my budget of $15-16k (not including setting) realistic if I'm looking for a stone with the below specs?
Color: I or higher (I prefer H or higher as my BG Blue is a G. I'm color sensitive but I'm willing to compromise a little to achieve a certain size).
Clarity: SI1 or higher (as long as it's eye clean SI2 is fine too; my eye clean definition is 5 inches from the face)
Cut: I do not like antique cushions. I like closer to square cushions with rounded corners. I don't like the crushed ice look either.
Carat: I want it to face up similar to a 1.7 ct Ideal cut round so 2- 2.2 cts? Basically I want the upgrade to be a noticeable difference from my 1.22 ct round.
Others: I need the vendor to have an upgrade policy. I am looking to upgrade to a bigger cushion or round down the road.

What do you guys/gals think? Thank you for your help!

Yes, you will want to be in the 2 ct range with a cushion. I would probably recommend contacting Good Old Gold to see what they have or what they maybe can call in for you if they don't have anything with your specs. They have a great upgrade policy and can check the stone's light performance for you and show you a video, etc. They do a good job finding fancy cut stones such as cushions, etc. I am on the east coast and already am up too late, or else I'd check stones for you. But I think checking their site and then calling them to tell them you want a couple of great stones to choose from might be your best bet.

Okay, looked quick. They have one really nice one in stock that meets most of your requirements:

Higher budget, higher color:

These are beautiful stones. There are a LOT of bad cushions out there, unfortunately!
