I''m getting a diamond from WF and I''m going custom for the setting. I just got off the phone with them, and there was Leon on the phone. I''m kind of curious is it''s the same person.

Do you know their policy on custom jewelry, if I don''t like something, will they re-do it for free, or am I stuck? I read some posts here about different jewelers where if you''re not happy, pay more even if it''s not like in the original design.

Thanks!!!

No, it''s another Leon.

I''m not an expert by any means. First, the "Leon" everyone is talking about it Leon Mege; I don''t believe he is associated w/ WF at all.

I don''t know WF''s policy on custom, other than I think they only have a deposit of a few hundred dollars for you to get the CAD drawings. You have to ask each jeweler their custom policy. With some, you are stuck, other than minor tweaks they can make to the ring. With some, they will re-do it once. (even a different design) I think Greenlake Jewelers is like this. I met a jeweler in Great Falls, VA, Adeler Jewelers. They don''t even require a deposit, and if you don''t like the ring, you don''t have to pay for it. Once you do pay for it, they will remake it as many times over as you need. If you just don''t want it (but already paid for it) they will give a store credit for something in their store. That is the best return policy I''ve heard of, and I wish I''d gone with it.

Different Leon, although I think that Leon is great! I talked to him several times about my custom setting (I was a smidge obsessed and I''m very picky!) and it turned out exactly how I wanted it!

I would talk to Whiteflash directly about the custom setting policy.

Thank you all! I will definitely ask them about the policy, they''ll call me back later today. I was just curious about Leon. He seemed very professional and understanding on the phone. I enjoyed talking with him. I''m relieved that he is also a very good jeweler!

Just getting some more info and feedback from the PS community.

Anybody else had theri rings made by Leon of WF?

Thanks again!

Leon at WF is phenomenal and he created a ring for me and I wouldn''t hesitate to go custom with them. However, the leon everyone is talking about is Leon Mege: http://www.artofplatinum.com/4images/. He is the pave artist!!
