Hi Mak,

The Crisscut are a branded cut so very difficult to judge as I don't know what criteria are used for these. Have you seen it in person and prefer it to the more traditional EC? Unless the depth and table measurements are reversed, having a much larger table might be a typical feature of the Crisscut, can you just check those measurements for me please?

Out of interest, what is the diameter, polish and symmetry and girdle thickness please?

Dear Lorelei

Here are more details :

Shape : Cut-cornered / rectangular modified brilliant (Crisscut)
Measurement : 8.92 x 6.08 x 4.02 mm

Polish : very good
Symmetry : good
Fluorescence : None

Girdle : slightly thick
Cutlet : none

Is it worth for 18,800 $ ?
What is reasonable price for normal EC with similar specification ?

Thank you

There is one on the virtual listings ( bear in mind online diamonds can be cheaper) which is priced at 15,500k thereabouts. So being a branded cut from a jeweller the price looks about right. What I would suggest if you like this diamond, get an independant appraisal and make the sale final on it checking out to your satisfaction in all aspects ( get this in writing). That way you will have an expert opinion on your purchase.

Below is a tool you can use to find an appraiser in your area.
