before 2005, gia reports did not come with crown and pavillion angle information? how on earth did people buy their rounds in that case? you need those numbers dont you?

Waaaay back when I got engaged, most diamonds didn''t even have certs. You chose with your eyes since internet shopping wasn''t around then!

A lot of the people I know (NOT on PS) wouldn''t even know how to read a cert...not everyone is a Pricescoper!!!!

Personally I can''t imagine NOT having the cert with pavillion angles, etc...
