Is it snowing where you are?

It''s 11pm here in NYC and its a blizzard outside. We walked to the corner store and then ventured back home. So now DH is watching the history channel and I''m borred. Anyone else?

none here, but i''m in southern IN and in general we won''t get ice/snow until late january/early fabruary. the past two years we''ve skipped the snow and gone straight to about 3 inches of ice

looks beautiful, but not much fun otherwise.

i have a friend who''s supposed to fly into NY either tomorrow or monday (i know she''s headed up to indy tomorrow and flying out from there). i''m sure they''ll be fine by monday, but is the strom expected to stay pretty bad tomorrow as well?

Yes, I started a thread about the week before Christmas snowstorm. I am in southwestern Connecticut (and, given the geography of Connecticut, that puts me on the coast). I am, also, in the path of the snowstorm and it is snowing here. I hear a snowplow in front of our house now. I have a Jeep and want to go out and look at the snow just because I am curious and hate being cooped up, but I am trying to be good and stay put .

I felt so bad for the guys trying to push it. DH and I also went out a little earlier to get some food (for when we''re stuck at home all day tomorrow) and some movies to watch tomorrow! I''m kinda excited for our movie day...

I am in Central Ohio it snowed about and inch yesterday and it is snowing now, but it is just a light coating.

It hasn't snowed here in NC yet this year (well the part we live in), and I wonder if it will. From what I hear, we don't get much snow but ice can be an issue occasionally. I miss it!

it is snowing in the east of england and it was CHAOS when it started coz we were NOT prepared! the snow came really early this year.

it''s now like a fairytale winter wonderland outside, with the chocolate box houses outside covered in at least 6 inches of snow.

Looks like a white christmas for me for the first time in 10 years!!!

I''m in the midwest. We got a couple inches this morning. Enough that FI had to get the snowblower out. We got about 10 inches a week and a half ago. I''m already waiting for spring. The first snow always seems fun and special. Every one after that is just a PITA for me.

That''s why we moved from NY to Cali.

It was lovely here today; we thought about going for a hike but decided against it since it gets dark so early.

I want to move to CA so bad. I hate working out in the gym in the winter. My feet were freezing by the time I got there today.

it''s snowed here in Holland since Thursday. lots of accidents on the road and not everyone came into work because public transport isn''t working and the bike paths are snowed under.

we expect that it will all melt before Christmas because we haven''t had a white Christmas in years.
