Is it possible to discern color in pictures?

I'm looking at G/H color RB stones. I'd like to be closer to G color but not sure it's worth the price difference, especially because I'm only working with vendors who (I feel) provide the more reputable H&A cuts (i.e. Whiteflash, BGD). I do understand it's possible for a color grading to fall near the top or bottom end of the specific grade -- for example, an H may be a "high H/low G" or a "low H/high I." I also realize I'll probably never in the real world be able to tell the difference of any sort of "half-grade" shift...

However, I've been looking at Whiteflash ACA's in particular, and I found 3 H color VS1 stones. In the pictures online, one of these stones certainly appears more G-like than the other two. My question is: Is it actually possible to discern a difference in color within a grade from online images? Here are the three diamonds... not to ruin the punchline, but the first one is the one I feel is closer to G color.

In my opinion, no it isnt. Change in color could be dependent on a lot of things. If these stones all belong to the same
company you can have one of their gemologist pull the stones and give you an opinion on which shows up as whitest/brightest .

No.

There are a zillion things that affect the color you see in pics.
Pricescope is FULL of pics of yellow looking Ds and white looking Ks.
