Is it normal to go up 3-4 sizes from street size in bridal/BM''s clothing?

Totally normal. I ordered my dress the exact size of the sample dress ( which fit me PERFECTLY. When my dress came in, it was huge. And I didn''t loose weight (on the contrary, I had gained a few pounds in the 8 months it took to come in).

I had to get it taken in significantly around the hips, and still after multiple alterations, it never looked as good as the sample did because the proportions were off. Oh well, I still got married and that''s all that counts!

I am a street size 6 and my wedding dress was a 12. My MOH, on the other hand, is a street size 2-4 and her bm dress was a 4, so I think it depends a lot of the brand, detail, fit, style, etc.
