I was once told that either sizing up or down, the proper way to size is cutting the bottom of the band, and adding or taking away a measured portion, and then melting it together to smooth out that cut transition part...I assume there are some rings that have a limit to how much they can be taken in or out, as it will eventually effect the "look" of the ring.
Also, eternity rings...how do they get adjusted?
Do you have a large ring or a small one, and what size is the difference?
I have a few that need to be sized down. My mother gave me a couple of rings and a bracelet ( all vintage) that she has had forever but never wears. Both rings are size 9 and I'm a size 7.
