IS Image review

Hi folks

Just received the IS image of a diamond I have in mind, but since it is the first time for me, I would appreciate any comments you might have in terms on how this stone would perform:

The stone itself is 0.7 carat, color I, clarity VVS2, HCA 1.0 with no fluorescence

Measurements: 5.73 * 5.75 * 3.52

Hi Jebraca and welcome!

We can't really comment on how the stone will perform just from an image, what we can say is that it should perform, it's an excellent image! For completeness, can you post all the proportions or link to the grading report please? The optical symmetry isn't perfect as can be seen from the image but unless you want a true hearts and arrows diamond with flawless patterning, this is not an issue at all.

I went for a James Allen setting that it is pretty close to my girlfriend's style:

Now I just crossing the fingers hoping i did the right choices as I pulled the trigger on the setting and diamond few hours ago; but if you think there is something very wrong with the stone, I can still stop the order, it is just that I am a bit of pressure as I have limited time before I can propose at the right location
