Which one do you think looks better?

Thanks for your comments!

Lots of views but no comments.... Does anybody have any comments on these they'd like to share?
Gypsy, Diamondseeker2006, Christina..

Not any of the above, obviously
Both are fine - impossible to suggest that one is better than the other from just those IS pics
Post all the info on the reports - age, comments, etc. (or report number and exact ct weight) and we can tell you more

I'd be fine with either 8) . What are the stats of each (color, clarity, carat) and what are the prices?

Thanks Yssie - pls excuse my ignorance...

below are the specs on the 2 stones pictured above. They are sequenced as pictured above (i.e.) stone #1 is pic 1 above and stone #2 is pic 2 above. GG report is below specs of each below

Stone #1
Shape: Round
Carat: 2.21
Color: I
Clarity: VS2
Cut: Excellent
Cert: GIA
HCA: 1.5
Eye Clean: yes
Polish: Excellent
Symmetry: Excellent
Depth%: 61.6
Table%: 56
Crown Angle: 35
Pavilion: 40.8
Measurements 8.37-8.39x5.16
Fluorescence: None
Girdle: Medium

has great fire, brilliance, and scintillation and performs the strongest of your diamonds. It faces perfectly eye clean and it has a higher/whiter "I" color that is closer to an "H."

Stone #2
Shape: Round
Carat: 2.03
Color: H
Clarity: VS2
Cut: Ideal
Cert: AGS
HCA: 1.1
Eye Clean: yes
Polish: Ideal
Symmetry: Ideal
Depth%: 61.4
Table%: 56.1
Crown Angle: 34.8
Pavilion: 40.7
Measurements 8.16-8.13x5.00
Fluorescence: None
Girdle: Medium

very bright but the gemologist didn't find its fire to be as strong as your other option. In addition to having nice light performance, it faces eye clean and has a true "H" color

1 has a GIA report and is an I color. How much less is it than the other?

Hi Gypsy - nice to hear from you :))

I didn't know the stats were needed with the IS - feel pretty stupid about that.... but I thank Yssie for pointing it out to me - so I posted the stats and the GG report which I hope are sufficient.

To answer your question, the price difference with setting is $60

let me be more specific
#1 - 24714 with setting
#2 - 24655 with setting

so the smaller of the two is $59 cheaper...

Cost is negligible but in this case I'd go for the GIA I color given the spread difference and the gemologists comments.
=)

Thank you very much for your reply Gypsy!

My wife said she'll be happy with whatever I give her and I honestly can't see much difference in the IS - which honestly, means nothing... Out of my own curiosity, do you see much difference in the IS images? Any other comments you have would also be of great interest.

Tomorrow I purchase - it will be a very nice weekend :)) Thanks again!

Stone one may have slightly more scintillation, but they both look great. I like the "crisp" arrows on 2. I think either will be awesome.

You cannot distinguish based on the IS images or the numbers, the stones look equally good.

Based on the other information I would choose the larger I color stone. Bigger and borderline H color. Better deal.

@TitanCi - thanks for your comment. BTW - These stones were very similar to one , a 2.04, you referred me to a couple months back and I missed out on.

@Dreamer_D - thank you for your expertise and taking time to comment.
