they aren''t on the list. that doesn''t mean they aren''t reputable but I''ve never heard of them. I would recommend going with a well known PS vendor.

What if the vendor IS listed with PS but aren''t well known? Would you be comfortable going with them just based on the fact they are a PS vendor? Well enough to send a wire transfer? I''ve been trying to decide what to do.

who''s the vendor? no, I wouldn''t necessarily do business with them just b/c they are PS vendors. I feel more comfortable with the one''s that have a strong presence here b/c of the giant fishbowl this place is. But, If I was able to find a few threads and find folks with positive experiences I might consider it. wire''s are hard though b/c there is no recourse and if I don''t know the vendor I''m not sure I''d wire money.

My Diamond Experience in Chicago. Andrey from PS admin. said they have over 32 years in the trade but are just fairly new from an online perspective. They have been VERY helpful. Was thinking seriously about buying from them but using a credit card.

A little FYI mrssalvo - Pricescope has no special tools other than hearsay and a bunch of smart people who assess any new company that applies to be a featured vendor.
Being an occasional ''informal smart people panel'' person, I can tell you that many more dont make the grade than do.
Seems the process is pretty cool, because there are not that many vendors expelled, as any are that get very few unfavorable expulsions.
But rest assured - if a vendor here does wrong, they get seriously slapped about by ALL. The vetting process generally ensures the vendors around here are ethical and good people.
