Went to The Bay to buy some much needed underwear that was on sale. Once there, no colors or sizes in stock so ordered from the clerk, to be delivered to my home. Got a text that says it was delivered, but uhhhh, no underwear?? Now The Bay says 2 to 3 weeks to investigate. Fine, refund my money. Nope, not until the investigation. Ok, send me some underwear, as this essential worker needs some. Sure, order more. I. Dont. Think. So.

So for you Canadians ordering online with The Bay, my first experience with them sucks.

@Begonia I’m sorry, that is frustrating. A similar incident happened to me from another company with a different product. Said it was delivered but it wasn’t and when I contacted them they said they have to investigate. No refund until they finished their investigation. So I contacted my CC company and got the refund immediately. And ordered what I needed from a different company. HTH.

Will do just that missy, thanks. Hopefully Visa is more agreeable than The Bay.

All I want is some damn underwear ya know? The bills keep coming, the people keep travelling, the cases are rising again. Send me my @#$%ing bra. Sigh. Deep breath...

@Begonia That's awful, and hasn't been my experience so far. I do a ton of online shopping, but I'll definitely avoid the Bay now in solidarity with you. I found that the Aerie brand has some nice cotton underwear. I just bought 10 pairs for $40. Very happy with the quality of the ones I picked. I hadn't thought they'd be this good. Lucked into that sale. But if you're going for a brand name, I'm sure you can find them somewhere else other than the Bay.

Word of mouth is a powerful thing @lyra! I'll check them out absolutely. Thanks for the great tip. I feel like a thread on regional shopping online and otherwise is in order :)

HI:

Are you close to a Superstore?

cheers--Sharon

Hi @canuk-gal. Maybe 45 mins? Only 1 in our city and the shelves are always out of stock of things you want, so I don't go much, if at all.

I was shopping for bras tho (I wasn't clear about that in my first post), underwear isn't a problem at the moment, but good to know for the future, where to get some.

Bras are the most difficult product to buy. I don't envy your challenge. Much success to you!

I hate bra shopping! Impossible online pretty much. Luckily I shopped a while before lockdown.
