iPhone Family Plan Question

I had a thread on this before, but for some reason I couldn''t revive it..didn''t see a reply button? Anyway..I am impatient and was wondering if anyone could answer my question tonight since I am trying to figure up our projected post-wedding, combined income bills. We''re planning on getting two iPhones in late June/July. We''re looking at the 1400 minute plan and want unlimited texts (think this an extra $20 or $30 a month?). Does anyone have this plan and know how much this would be a month? I was thinking around $170 or so total..my friend says it''s going to be over $200 because you need to add $50 per iPhone plus all these other fees but she is not sure..ugh. I am trying to figure out it out but I am confused.

Any help?

It's whatever the cost of the family minute plan you want plus $9.99 per additional line, $30 per phone for the internet, and $20 for unlimited txt.

The AT&T 1400 minute family talk plan is $89.99 and that includes 2 lines. Then add $30 per iPhone for data ($60 total for data) and then add another $30 for unlimited messaging for families. Total=$179.99 per month plus tax. I'd guess tax will be around $15-20.

Also, check and see if you get discounts through your employer. I get a 15% discount because my company has an employee pricing agreement with AT&T.

We have two iphones and are on the family plan for 1400 minutes a month. I have the 200 text messages for $10 ($5 per phone), but I also get an employee discount and my bill comes out to $159 a month (tax, etc. included).

I would guess without the discount it would be around $200 or slightly more...

Your friend was spot on...but so were you. The difference is, her total includes taxes.

From ATT's website, the plan you're looking at is $89.99 for two lines, plus $60 for data for both lines, plus $30 for unlimited family txt.
Total would be $180 plus around $20 for tax.
However, when you go in the stores, they have plans not listed on their site that include the data in the package. You would just have to add the $30 unlimited family txt.

Thanks everyone!! Only confusing point now is I called AT&T today to see if there''s a difference in plan prices between the current iPhone and the one coming out on Friday..they told me it''s $15 more per iPhone. FI called and they told him no..it''s exactly the same. Ahhhhh which is it?! Looks like we''ll just have to go to the store to find out and put it aside until then..

I was told it's the same.

Right now we have 700 shared mins and 3 lines. $70 + $10 for the extra line
2 iphone plans $60 (3g, soon to be 3g s!!)
Unlimted texting $30
Taxes...

It's about $190 a month

I went yesterday and got a brochure since FI is going to be joining my plan. Iphone family plan for two lines with unlimited data is $129.99 then $30 total for unlimited txting if you are going to add that. That brings you to $159.99 before tax and about $175 after.

That''s true for the 700 minute plan. It''s more for the plan Sarah wants, the 1400 plan. Then it''s $179.99 plus tax.
