Hello All!
First of all, I''d like to express how glad I am to have found this website. I''ve done quite a bit of lurking, and have learned a lot, and now I''m ready to ask about a few different options.
For starters, my proposal already happened. It was very impromptu, and now I''m looking for the perfect ring for her. My budget is $4000-6000, with $5000 being the *magic* number. I''d like to get her something right away, so she can *really* feel like she is getting married.
I know she''d like a round solitaire with a sidestone setting. So, here''s what I''ve come up with. Your thoughts are appreciated.
Anyway, here is the setting I''d like to get for her, no matter which stone I end up with:
Sidestone Setting
And, a stone that fits in my budget, that looks gorgeous from the photo:
0.8 VS2 E Ideal
Specs:
Shape: Round
Carat weight: 0.80
Cut: Ideal
Color: E
Clarity: VS2
Certificate: GIA
Depth: 62.2%
Table: 55.0%
Polish: Excellent
Symmetry: Excellent
Girdle: Thin to slightly thick
Culet: None
Fluorescence: None
Measurements: 5.93*5.97*3.70
With the setting, and a discount code, it comes to $4696. Any thoughts?
Thanks so much!
Mike
