Hi everyone, I am trying to understand the basics on how inclusions are categorized.

feathers
clouds
needles
twinning wisp
natural
crystal

I believe the only ones I have seen are crystals, since they look like black dots or clear specs. Any better than others to have?

There is a glossary of terms under the Knowledge tab above. For me, the only thing I care about is whether or not it is eyeclean to my satisfaction. I mean if I can't see it, it just ISN'T there. Feathers that are fairly large and reach the surface can be a weak spot and can chip or break later if hit or dropped. Most inclusions are like birth marks, making this particular diamond unique. A eyeclean SI-1 or SI-2 is fine or just move up to VS-1 which should be eye clean.

The knowledge tab only describes feathers, but doesn't tell me what anything else is.
